The 334th Brigade Engineer Battalion (334th BEB) is a Minnesota Army National Guard engineer battalion headquartered in Bloomington. The brigade engineer battalion replaced the Brigade Special Troops Battalion (BSTB) in 2014. The overall mission of the 334th BEB is to provide engineer support to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 34th Infantry Division (1/34th ABCT). The addition of the BEB gives the 1/34th ABCT more engineer capabilities, including two engineer companies as well as a battalion-level staff capable of engineer planning and command and control. The BEB also has a military intelligence, signal company and forward support company.
There are six major units in the 334th BEB: Headquarters and Headquarters Company in Bloomington; A Company in Hutchinson; B Company in Litchfield; C Company in Moorhead, D Company in Bloomington and E Company in Inver Grove Heights.
