Members of the 133rd Airlift Wing, MN Air National Guard in St. Paul donated over 40 units of blood on Jan. 20. 2007 for the American Red Cross. While a health care worker monitors SrA Colin Brandon, a wire and cable worker with the 210th Engineering and Installation Squadron, TSgt Debbra Zimny (left) with the 133rd Airlift Wing Finance Office continues to squeeze blood into a pouch. Zimney says, "I give blood because something that is very easy to do. I also give because I have O negative blood and that is universal, but I can only receive O negative blood, so it is like giving to myself as well." USAF Official photo by TSgt Erik Gudmundson. |
