Eligibility

Minnesota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are covered for any injury, illness or disease incurred or aggravated in the line of duty (LOD), including traveling to and from military duty. Medical coverage (direct care at the Military Treatment Facilities) is available when the member is activated.

When Minnesota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are ordered to active duty for more than 30 days in support of a contingency operation they are eligible for Early Activator and Transitional Assistance Management Program (TAMP).

Temporary Insurance

Continued Health Care Benefit Program (CHCBP) is a premium-based healthcare program that offers temporary transitional health coverage for 18-36 months after TRICARE eligibility ends. If you qualify, you can purchase CHCBP within 60 days of loss of eligibility.
