Army Enlistment Bonuses

1. Non-Prior Service (NPS)

- $10,000 NPS Critical Skill Bonus - must enlist for 6X2 or 8X0 in one of Minnesota Critical Skills.
- $5,000 “Quick Ship” - must agree to ship to training within 45 days of enlistment.
- $5,000 "Off Peak" -  must agree to ship to training between 1 October 2010 and 31 May 2010

Note:  Quick Ship and Off Peak are not stand alone bonus' and must be attached to a Critical Skill bonus.

2. Prior Service Enlistment Bonus (PSEB)

- $15,000 for 6 years paid out, 50% upon enlistment then other 20% of the 3rd anniversary of enlistment and the final 30% on 6th year anniversary.

- $7500 for 3 years paid out, ½ 50% upon enlistment then other 20% of the 2nd anniversary of enlistment and the final 30% on 3rd year anniversary. 

Note: 
- Not more than 16 years of total military service at the time of enlistment.
- Must be Duty Military Occupational Specialty Qualified at time of enlistment.
- Must enlist in a Critical Skill MOS.

3. Reenlistment/Extension (REB)

$5,000 REB to Deployed Soldiers serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Kuwait who reenlist for 6 years paid out in one lump sum.

Note: 
- Not have more than 20 years of total military service at the time of ETS
- Soldiers that have more than 18 years TIS as of current ETS may extend 6 years and receive a pro-rated payment up to 24-years.

4. Officer Affiliation Bonus

$10,000 Officer Affiliation bonus to Officers and Warrant Officers who upon separation from AD agree to serve in the ARNG.

Note:  Must meet all original criteria per SRIP Policy 07-06.
      

5. Officer Accession Bonus

$10,000 Officer Accession Bonus

Note:  Must meet all original criteria per SRIP Policy 07-06.

6. MOS Conversion Bonus (MOSCB)

$2000 MOS Conversion Bonus

Note: 
- Hold rank of Sgt. and have less than 10-years TIS at time of application.
- Hold rank of Sgt. or below regardless of TIS.
- Agree to retrain into designated MOS that is less than 90% filled and within the same skill level at time  of conversion.
- Sign written agreement to serve for a period of 3-years effective upon completion of MOSQ retraining within any unit where the targeted shortage exist.
- Soldiers receiving the NPSEB must first complete their existing contractual obligation in order to become eligible to receive the MOSCB.
