Minnesota County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO)

In each of Minnesota’s counties there is a Minnesota County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) who is dedicated to serving veterans.  The CVSO is usually located in the county courthouse or government center, and is a valuable initial contact for state and federal claims for veterans.

Family Assistance Center

The Family Assistance Center (FAC) was formed to assist families of Soldiers with needs which arise while the Soldier is deployed.  A FAC is an Information Source for a variety of services for the Soldier and their family before, during and following a deployment. FAC staff members are trained to listen and to provide the best possible resources for any issues which may arise to include TriCare & DEERS issues, pay & financial issues, communication, emergency assistance, mentor Family Readiness Groups and much more! Do not, for any reason, hesitate to call if you need help. When you contact a FAC for assistance, keep in mind that the FAC staff is bound by confidentiality. All information that is provided to the FAC concerning an issue remains with the FAC.
