DESCRIPTION: The St. Paul Fire Fighters of Local 21 made Minnesota Army National Guardsman, Staff Sgt. James Wosika an honorary fire fighter on Jan. 17th. Family, friends and fellow Soldiers of Staff. Sgt. Wosika attended the event. Staff Sgt. James M. Wosika, Jr., Age 24, of St Paul was killed in combat. Staff. Sgt. Wosika was assigned to B Company, 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry, based in Crookston, Minn. While traveling on a foot patrol mission near Fallujah, Iraq an Improvised Explosive Device detonated near his vehicle on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007.
