A small memorial sticker adorns the window of the Chippewa County Sheriff vehicles as they escort the ‘Flag of Honor’ and Jason Zunkers wife and family back to Chippewa Falls, Wisc. from the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington Hotel on Jan. 23rd. The ‘Flag of Honor’ arrived at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, Minn. and was transferred to the wife and family of Wisconsin Chippewa County Sheriff Jason Zunker. Zunker was the nation’s first officer to be killed in the line of duty in 2008. The flag will remain in Chippewa Falls, Wisc. until Jan. 30th when it will be transported to Miami, Florida.
