A van set ablaze to simulate a burning section of aircraft burns in an abandon parking lot during an Eagan Minnesota Emergency Exercise involving seventeen different government agencies including local fire departments, law enforcement, ambulances, Transportation Security Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Defense, and the Minnesota Air National Guard. Chief Jeffrey Allen 133rd Airlift Wing Minnesota Air National Guard security forces squadron maintains a secure periminter in the backround. The Eagan city officials were exercising the community's initial response to a scenario in which a military cargo plane had crashed into the shopping center during business hours the simulated aircraft can be seen sticking out of the mall.
