Soldiers of the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade participated in weapons familiarization training at Camp Ripley, Minn. during their drill weekend Jan. 24-27. The training is a part of a variety of required task each Soldier of the brigade must complete before deploying later this year to Iraq. All the Soldiers, from private to lieutenant colonel, were required to disassemble and assemble a variety of weapons including the M16, 9mm, the .50 caliber and more weapons they may have to operate in theater.
