DESCRIPTION: Spc. Nancy Charlton and Spc. Megan Hanft receive instructions from an instructor on how to take a part the .50 Caliber machine gun during pre-deployment training at Camp Ripley, Minn. on Jan. 25th. All Soldiers of the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade participated in weapons familiarization training at Camp Ripley, Minn. during their drill weekend Jan. 24-27. The training is a part of a variety of required task each Soldier of the brigade must complete before deploying later this year to Iraq.
