ESGR

The Department of Defense tasks the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to promote both public and private understanding of the National Guard and Reserve. ESGR provides free education, consultation, and if necessary mediation for employers of Guard and Reserve employees.

For Employees

Most employment conflicts can be avoided by being candid with your employer about your obligations as a member of one of the Reserve components. Don't take your employer's support for granted. Keep your boss informed about what you do in the military and when you do it. Know your rights and responsibilities.

For Employers

Learn more about the National Guard. Attend public functions at local military units. Talk about the National Guard with military and civilian leaders in your community. These are all ways you can show your support of your military employees.
