Medical Corps

The Army National Guard offers physicians and medical students the opportunity to broaden their professional horizons.  Army National Guard physicians train side-by-side with some of the country's - and the world's - premiere physicians.  They utilize unique medical equipment designed to meet the rigorous conditions of military medicine.  Professional development and training are foundations of Army National Guard medicine.  Army Guard physicians have the opportunity to attend many specialized courses and seminars not always available to civilians.  Military training courses are also available to prepare physicians for key leadership and staff positions.
