Q.  What are the Noise Sensitive or 'No Fly Areas' in and around Camp Ripley?

A.  Check out the Fly Neighborly Map page on this site.


Q.  What are the hours of operation for the Control Tower?

A.  The tower is only open on request.   That means that if you need the Tower open, we will open it.  We will stay open as long as needed.


Q.  How do I get in touch with personnel at the airfield?

A.  Check out the  Airfield Phone list - it is updated continuously.


Q.  How do I get a list of phone numbers for the entire post?

A.  Check out the phone list page on the Camp Ripley site.


Q.  When is Flight Operations open?

A.  Flight Operations building is open every day (except federal holidays) from 0700 to 1630 local time.  Operations will open at any other time if needed - yes, even federal holidays.


Q.  How do I get a PPR?

A.  Try using our PPR Request page, or you can call and ask.


Q.  How do I arrange for billeting?

A.  The phone number for Camp Ripley Billeting is (320) 632-7378/7302 or DSN 871-7378/7302.  You can also go to their site on the Camp Ripley Web.


Q.  What kind of fuel do you have?

A.  We have JP8.  More information is available in the DoD FLIPs or here.


Q.  Where are the DZs in relations to the rest of post?

A.  There are two areas 'down range' and another located on the airfield itself.  Check out the DZ Location Map for a better idea of where they are.


Q.  Is there a full time weather forecaster stationed at Miller Army Airfield?

A.  .  We have only the DTN Weather Service terminal.   Any additional weather support can be coordinated through the 208th Weather Flight, Minnesota Air National Guard.
