1. Aircraft will contact Miller Tower on 126.2 VHF, 241.0 UHF or 49.2 FM prior to entering and while in their airspace.
2. Recommend day single ship visual drops, DZ does not have sufficient width for formation or SKE drops.
3. ATC tower 947 yards, heading 358° magnetic from PPI.
4. Assault strip has 2' x 6' panels marking both sides or runway down the entire length, main runway has 2' tall lights on shoulders for night markings as well as navigation equipment located on the airfield.  Using unit will brief jumpers on these hazards.
5. Use of DZ shall be coordinated through Camp Ripley Range Control, 133rd TAW Minnesota ANG,  Miller AAF Operations, Camp Ripley, MN, or Post Operations, Camp Ripley, MN.
6. Left traffic recommended to avoid R4301 north of DZ.
7. There are multiple water towers located 2700 feet from the approach end of runway 31R and 31L (31L is the Kalahar LZ - dirt strip).  These towers are approximately 129 feet AGL and are immediately to the left of the approach corridor.
