Arden Hills Army Training Site
The Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS) is a military training area under the control of Minnesota National Guard. Formally known as the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP), the facility produced over 16.5 billion rounds of small-arms ammunition for World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. AHATS is utilized for small unit military training.

Department of Natural Resources Enforcement Center
Camp Ripley houses the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Enforcement Center. DNR Conservation Officers train year-round at Camp Ripley's diverse habitat. Go to the DNR Enforcement site. |

Economic Impact
In 2005 Camp Ripley employed 1,272 employees. Nearly $31 million in federal pay and expenditures contributed to Camp Ripley's economic impact. Additionally, over $300,000 in state pay and expenditures contributed to the economic viability of the area.

Miller Army Airfield
The Miller Army Airfield is also located at the camp. Named for Ray S. Miller, it includes a 6100-foot (1860 m) runway capable of accommodating C-130 aircraft. There are also five drop zones for training for the release of cargo and personnel from aircraft.

Operations/Training
Camp Ripley features numerous ranges and state of the art training facilities to support unit training requirements. The post has a full complement of automated small arms and tank ranges as well as several specialized training facilities. State Patrol Training Academy
Camp Ripley has been the host for the Minnesota State Patrol Academy since 1996. The front gates have welcomed many women and men as recruits and ushered them out as members of Minnesota's finest--the Minnesota State Patrol.
