| Camp Ripley has excellent medical facilities. The Medical Unit Training Facility (Bldg 8-81) provides both training for medical units and medical support to units. The facility includes treatment, x-ray, dental, and examination facilities. During high troop density periods the installation provides staff to operate the facility, offers physical exams and provides air medical evacuation services. During low troop density periods, the installation will arrange treatment and evacuation support from local civilian organizations. |
